Winter Kingdom at Energylandia

If you visit Winter Kingdom, I recommend you wrap up warm; you are outside all day, and it gets chilly.

We visited the last day it was open before Christmas and believed it would be jam-packed, but to our surprise, it wasn't.

After visiting in the Summer, we had an idea of the layout and didn't expect many rides to be open, and we were proved wrong within 5 minutes of walking through the gates...there were a few things not available, but for us, the most noticeable and most apparent were the waterpark and water rides.

The big rollercoasters were open and the best news, there were no queues - the Mayan Rollercoaster we queued for nearly 2 hours in the Summer, this time because the weather is colder there was no queue!

The additional Christmas-themed activities were Seeing Santa, Ice Skating, Tube Racing, Gingerbread decorating, watching the Christmas shows and listening to the reindeer sing.

The evening draws in quickly, but as the light dims, the park lights up beautifully.
